Laser cutting is a precise and efficient process that uses a laser beam to cut or engrave materials. It is commonly used in various industries, including manufacturing, signage, arts and crafts, and more.
Keppel and kismet uses a Co2 laser. This technology allows us to create clean and precise outcomes.
Laser cutting can be used on a wide range of materials, including but not limited to wood (our favorite), acrylic, leather, natural fiber fabric, paper, cardboard, rubber, certain metals, and more.
Our laser cutting services are priced at $100 per hour through 9/30/2023, after which our price will increase to $120/hour. This remains a competitive rate compared to the current industry standard of $150-$180/hour.
We charge a set-up or graphic design fee of $25-$75/hour. For designs that are laser ready and only require set-up, our fee is $25 per design. For designs that require preparation or digitization, we charge $75/hour. Most of our graphic design work is accomplished within one hour. We strive to maintain transparent pricing. However, depending on the complexity of your project, there may be additional charges for material costs, rush orders, shipping, or any special requests. We will provide you with a detailed quote before starting any work.
You can submit your design files in vector format (such as AI, EPS, or PDF) to ensure the best results. If you need assistance with creating or converting your design files, our graphic design team can help you. Please use the link to upload your design file or any design inspiration.
The turnaround time for laser cutting projects depends on various factors, including the complexity and size of the project, material availability, and current workload. We will provide you with an estimated timeframe when providing the quote for your project. If you have a specific deadline, please inform us, and we will do our best to accommodate it.
