Keppel and Kismet Open Studio

Hello, Creative Friends!
We kindly ask that everyone visiting our Open Studio make their own reservation whenever possible. It helps ensure each guest gets important reminders, booking updates, and the full experience from start to finish.
Planning to treat a friend? You're welcome to reserve 2–3 spots under your name—but try to keep it to a small group. After all, you're not responsible for anyone else's creative journey (or their email confirmations 😉).
Thanks for helping us keep things organized and magical.
With gratitude,
Nichole + The Keppel & Kismet Team

I made my reservation! What should I expect when I visit?
When You Arrive
- Welcome! Come on in—my name is Nichole, and I’m here to make sure you feel at home. Let me know your name, and I’ll give you a quick tour of the space.
- Help yourself to a sparkling water or a cozy cup of tea.
- Settle in at your station, take a deep breath, and enjoy the calm.
To Start
- We invite everyone to create a name tag—it’s your warm-up and a fun way to explore the supplies.
- This is your time: no rules, no pressure. Use what calls to you and go at your own pace.
During Your Session
- Paint, draw, collage, carve, stitch—follow your creative spark.
- Need a prompt? Check the chalkboard wall or our Instagram @keppelandkismet for inspiration.
- If you’re in the mood to connect, feel free to join in our optional discussion question of the day—it's a simple, light-hearted way to share space and stories.
Before You Go
- We start the cleanup about 10 minutes before your session ends.
- Please tidy your area and return supplies where you found them.
- Give your workspace a quick wipe-down using the spray and cloth provided.
- Take your creations with you—unless you’re planning to gift them to the studio cats (we're mostly kidding... mostly).
- Don’t forget to book your next session—we’d love to see you again.
Is there instruction or help during sessions?
Nope! These sessions are self-directed. That means you're free to follow your own creative impulses without a teacher. Of course, our team is nearby if you need help finding supplies or settling in.
Looking for guided experiences? Keep an eye out for our Workshop offerings!
Can I bring a friend?
Drop-in Guests: Yes, just book two sessions online!
Members: If you're on a Plus or Premium plan, you can bring one friend for free each month. A perfect excuse to share the joy.
